Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Program Director for Power Delivery Solutions, based in or near the DC metro area. The role leads engineering and professional services delivery across assigned programs, coordinating with technical teams and managers to maximize value and ensure contract and technical requirements are met.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in electric utility engineering, deep domain knowledge of power delivery, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 10+ years of experience in electric utility engineering.
• Advanced understanding of electrical, civil, structural and mechanical engineering as applied to power delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent team building and coloration skills.

Responsibilities

• The Program Director will manage the delivery of engineering and professional services on assigned program(s).
• Engage technical teams, review progress, evaluate team effectiveness and maximize program outcomes.
• Collaborate with Section Managers on engineering activities and resource management.
• Partner with the PMO to optimize program management and conduct issue management.
• Develop financial forecasts of revenue and operating income for the program.
