Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Senior Project Manager within our Program Management organization to plan, manage, and execute a portfolio of power delivery projects across multiple offices.

You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, communications, resources, procurement and risk, coordinate with clients and project teams, ensure contracts and change orders are handled, and mentor other PMs on large multi-discipline programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years in Power Delivery with at least 5 years in project management.
• Strong understanding of financial management.
• Experience delivering large multi-discipline programs across multiple offices.
• Thorough understanding of power delivery projects: transmission, substation, distribution.
• Strong relationship development and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and implementation of medium-large power delivery projects.
• Support business development through scoping, fee development, proposals, interviews, negotiations and contract development.
• Define project scope, work procedures/sequences, schedules, budgets, staffing, vendor lists and progress billing.
• Meet with client management to resolve issues and obtain approvals.
• Maintain ongoing client relationships as part of business development.
• Plan, organize, communicate and coordinate project engagements.
• Manage day-to-day activities with Clients and Project Teams.
• Achieve objectives including quality, scope, budgets and schedules.
• Analyze project performance and resource utilization.
• Identify potential out-of-scope work and manage change orders.
• Identify and manage project risk from proposal through completion.
• Train, mentor and oversee other PMs and conduct portfolio/project reviews.
