Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on hardware engineering in DC-DC power design for server hardware.
• Experience with SMPS topologies and multiphase VR controllers.
• Proficiency with Cadence Allegro Design Entry HDL / OrCAD Capture.
• Familiarity with PMBus, I2C or SVID for power telemetry.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, schematic capture, and BOM selection for high-current server DC-DC power delivery systems.
• Perform component sizing, worst-case analysis, and power loss calculations.
• Establish PCB power layer constraints and collaborate on PI/EMI compliance.
• Direct bring-up, loop stability tuning, and dynamic loadTransient profiling.
• Drive root-cause analysis and FMEA with cross-functional teams.
• Develop internal guidelines, review checklists, and validation standards.
• Mentor junior engineers across the hardware team.
