Job summary

Silicon Ranch Corporation is seeking a Senior Power Conversion Engineer to manage the performance, reliability, and lifecycle of power conversion systems across the fleet, including inverters and BESS. You will act as the technical owner, bridging field execution, engineering analysis, and vendor engagement.

The role informs equipment selection and design standards for new projects and drives resolution of systemic and site-specific issues, with a focus on reliability improvements and lifecycle

Qualifications

• 7+ years with power conversion systems (solar inverters and/or BESS).
• Strong field experience troubleshooting inverter and/or BESS systems.
• Experience working with vendors and cross‑functional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Utility‑scale solar, storage, or similar industrial power experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance and availability of inverter and BESS systems across the fleet.
• Drive the resolution of major failures and underperformance.
• Track and analyze performance and reliability metrics to identify risks.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for inverter, BESS, and AC system issues.
• Collaborate with OEMs and service providers to resolve issues.
• Lead technical escalation and corrective action implementation.
