Job summary

Faith Technologies in Menasha, WI is seeking a Power Control and Automation (PC&A) Principal Engineer. This SME will lead complex PC&A projects, define operations, design IEC 61850 networks, and develop energy management configurations while mentoring cross-functional teams.

Travel 10-15% and a schedule Monday–Friday, 7 AM–5 PM with potential flexible hours to meet project needs. Masters or additional certifications are a plus; 10+ years in engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of work experience; Masters and/or additional technical certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads technical scope of complex Power Control and Automation (PC&A) projects involving a team of technical staff.
• Provides SME level analysis for application of PC&A solutions and services.
• Defines sequence of operations and creates detailed control narratives for large power distribution and microgrid solutions.
• Designs IEC 61850 network architecture and system specifications.
• Develops configuration and programming for energy management system controllers and protective relays.
• Creates commissioning scripts and project documentation packages.
• Communicates with senior management and internal/external clients.
• Manages engineering scope of project budget and project quality, incorporating lessons learned.
