Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Power Control and Automation (PC&A) Principal Engineer to serve as SME for our PC&A program. The role links internal teams with external clients, providing leadership and mentorship while setting standards and best practices across engineering groups.

Travel of 10-15% is required. The position works 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday–Friday with flexibility to meet business needs. This role drives technical excellence across preconstruction and project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of work experience.
• Masters and/or additional technical certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads technical scope of complex PC&A projects with a team of technical staff.
• Provides SME level analysis for application of PC&A solutions and services.
• Defines sequence of operations and creates detailed control narratives for large power distribution and microgrid solutions.
• Designs IEC 61850 network architecture and system specifications.
• Develops configuration and programming for energy management system controllers and protective relays.
• Creates commissioning scripts and project documentation packages.
• Communicates with senior management and external clients.
