Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC seeks an experienced Power BI Administrator to manage and optimize the enterprise Power BI platform. You will support governance, security, and performance across SAP BW and Snowflake environments, with CI/CD via Azure DevOps.

The role demands strong Power BI expertise, data modeling, DAX, and production support skills, in a healthcare-focused context with regulatory considerations. On-site work in New Jersey is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Power BI Service and Premium Capacity.
• Strong knowledge of DAX, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Experience with security, RLS, and governance.
• Healthcare domain knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with SAP BW and Snowflake data environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Power BI Service, Premium Capacity, workspaces, datasets, and reports.
• Manage Power BI Gateways and ensure secure, reliable data connectivity.
• Monitor platform health, capacity, refresh schedules, and performance.
• Manage user access, permissions, security groups, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Provide L2/L3 production support and troubleshoot refresh failures, gateway issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Optimize datasets, data models, DAX queries, and report performance.
• Implement Power BI governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Support healthcare data governance and regulatory requirements.
• Work with SAP BW and Snowflake data environments.
• Support CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps and Power BI Deployment Pipelines.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and Power BI REST APIs.
• Prepare platform usage, capacity, SLA, and governance reports.
