Job summary

The Jupiter Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust BI solutions.

You will translate complex data into clear insights, partnering with the Data and Analytics group and executive sponsors to support strategic decisions. You’ll collaborate across business units to model data, create visuals, and optimize performance, while documenting data flows and promoting BI best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Power BI development and data analytics experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Expert-level proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and SQL.
• Strong data modeling and ETL understanding with CI/CD awareness.
• Proven ability to distill complex data into intuitive visuals.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Documentation of Power BI solutions is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and KPIs.
• Write optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data.
• Develop and maintain data models using DAX for calculations and KPIs.
• Analyze trends and provide actionable insights from large data sets.
• Optimize report performance and data refresh logic.
• Document report requirements, definitions, and data flows.
• Support self-service BI initiatives through user training and best practices.
