AbbVie Inc. is seeking a skilled BI analyst to design and deliver end-to-end Power BI dashboards and semantic models. You will translate complex operational data into actionable insights for leadership and operations teams, while gathering requirements and documenting design decisions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of technical experience, or Master's with 4 years; 9 years experience accepted.
• Experience with DAX (defining measures, calculated columns, filters, context transitions) and Power Query (M language) for data transformation.
• Experience with SQL—ability to write complex queries with joins, CTEs, aggregations, and date-based filtering.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and design data models that support reporting and analytics.
• Experience documenting technical designs, KPI definitions, and data architecture for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to validate data accuracy and reconcile reporting against source systems.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop end-to-end Power BI dashboards and semantic models translating complex operational data into actionable insights for leadership and operations teams.
• Conduct requirements gathering and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications with stakeholders.
• Develop KPIs and performance metrics that drive operational visibility and decision-making.
• Build semantic data models integrating data from Redshift, ODBC connections, and enterprise systems.
• Write and optimize Redshift-compatible SQL to extract, transform, and stage data for analytics.
• Create and document design specifications and requirement documents for dashboards as source-of-truth for leadership.
• Perform requirement validation and UAT coordination with stakeholders.
• Support dashboard deployment, troubleshooting connectivity, and user training.
• Leverage AI to identify continuous improvement opportunities aligned with business priorities.
