Job summary

Fort Worth ISD is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to lead enterprise BI initiatives. You will design, develop, and deploy dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI and Azure data services. The role partners with stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights for district-wide decision-making.

The candidate will develop semantic models, dataflows, and data governance practices, while optimizing performance, security, and scalability across the BI platform.

Qualifications

• Designs and implements enterprise BI solutions using Power BI and Azure data services.
• Gathers requirements from stakeholders and translates them into data models and dashboards.
• Develops complex DAX calculations, data models, performance optimizations, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of BI solutions using Power BI and Azure.
• Develops scalable semantic models, datasets, dataflows, and dashboards for executives and operations.
• Gathers requirements, analyzes business needs, and translates them into data models and visualizations.
• Designs interactive dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting to support planning and decisions.
• Creates complex DAX calculations and optimized data models for advanced analytics.
• Implements and maintains ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and related tools.
