Job summary

NuAxis Innovations is seeking a Senior Power BI Administrator in the United States to lead enterprise Power BI service administration, including gateway configuration, workspace governance, and deployment pipelines. The role focuses on secure, high-performance BI delivery for federal IT solutions.

The candidate will manage data gateways, RLS, capacity, and governance policies while troubleshooting performance and access issues.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years in Power BI or BI platform administration.
• Required: PL-300 or PL-200 certifications.
• DP-600 can be earned within 180 days of assignment.
• Preferred: Azure and Information Protection certifications.
• Needs deep knowledge of data governance, security, and deployment pipelines.
• Strong skills in capacity planning and monitoring usage analytics.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Power BI tenant, workspaces, apps, and deployment pipelines.
• Configure data gateways, refresh schedules, and data source connections.
• Implement row-level security, tenant settings, and sensitivity labeling.
• Manage capacity, monitoring, and analytics for BI delivery.
• Define and enforce governance, certification, and content lifecycle policies.
• Troubleshoot refresh failures, performance issues, and access problems.
