Job summary

LMI in the United States is seeking a Senior Data Systems Developer to specialize in the Microsoft Power Platform, supporting the VA/VHA contract. You will lead the development of Power Apps interfaces and workflow tools for frontline staff and program stakeholders, enabling efficient data collection and validation.

You will design app screens, implement data flows into SQL Server, and build Power Automate workflows coordinating with SharePoint and other data sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Data Science or related field.
• 8+ years in application/data systems development with Power Apps mastery.
• Experience building workflow-driven interfaces with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience writing and integrating with SQL Server databases.
• Familiarity with federal data governance, security standards, and WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility.
• Ability to translate workflows into user-friendly interfaces and robust data models.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Power Apps developer for the program, designing and maintaining apps for data entry, workflow routing, and approvals.
• Architect data flows from Power Apps into SQL Server, ensuring validated and structured data for downstream reporting.
• Build automated Power Automate workflows connecting Power Apps to SQL Server, SharePoint, and other sources.
• Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to support Power BI reporting pipelines.
• Lead UAT, create test cases, and coordinate defect resolution and changes.
• Ensure role-based access, VA security alignment, and 508 accessibility compliance.
