Job summary

Raytheon’s Hardware Electrical Engineering Team in Tucson seeks a Senior Power & Analog Design Engineer to lead design, analysis, testing, and documentation of electronic circuits for defense applications.

You will plan integration and verification activities, provide test support, and drive tasks to meet schedules. Experience with power/topologies, mixed-signal design, and relevant tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience with power, analog, digital, and/or mixed-signal circuit design or analysis.
• Experience with analog laboratory equipment such as waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and/or network analyzers.
• Experience with circuit simulation/modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, analysis, test, and/or documentation of electronic circuits.
• Plan and execute integration and verification activities in engineering laboratories.
• Provide product test and troubleshoot support and root cause investigations.
• Define schedules for tasking and drive execution to budget and schedule.
• Champion mentorship of junior engineers and knowledge transfer.
