Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Redmond, WA seeks a highly experienced PostgreSQL specialist to join the RDS PostgreSQL team.

You will work closely with customers, developers, and product managers to shape features, design, implement, validate, and resolve escalations for a fully managed database service. You will drive feature enhancements, resolve root causes, and share expertise across teams and with the open-source community, expanding knowledge to other database engines beyond

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience with PostgreSQL.
• At least 5 years operating PostgreSQL systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or troubleshooting customer issues.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer challenges and resolve critical escalations.
• Influence engineering with customer insights to shape features and end-to-end test plans.
• Drive feature enhancements and root-cause analysis for performance.
• Engage with open-source community and cross-functional teams.
• Extend knowledge to other database engines beyond PostgreSQL.
