Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc is seeking a Structural Engineer – Post-Tensioning Specialist (PE) to provide advanced engineering for post-tensioned concrete systems, including new construction, evaluation of existing structures, repairs, and rehabilitation.

The role requires an active Professional Engineer license and deep knowledge of post-tensioning, reinforced concrete, structural analysis, field investigations, and repair methodologies.

Qualifications

• PE license active or Florida licensure via endorsement.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• PTI training or certification or extensive post-tensioning experience.
• Experience with restoration and repair contractors for PT structures.
• Experience with parking structures, high-rise, residential, and commercial PT structures.
• Experience providing engineering support to construction and field operations.
• Knowledge of ACI, PTI, ASCE, IBC/FBC and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze post-tensioned structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers for solutions.
• Review and approve construction documents for codes and standards.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the construction process.
• Participate in meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
