Job summary

Amazon LEO – Senior Post Silicon Engineer is seeking a seasoned engineer to bring up, validate, and characterize the MODEM SOC, ensuring robust integration into space-grade devices. You will drive functional validation and characterization of high-speed interfaces and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in EE, 8+ years in SOC bring up/validation, PLL jitter characterization, and expertise with I2C/SPI/I3C/eMMC, Python, Embedded C, and Lauterbach JTAG

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
8+ years in Bring Up, Validation and characterization of SOC or ASIC.
Proficient in characterizing PLL performance (jitter, phase noise).
Familiar with I2C, SPI, I3C and eMMC protocols.
Experience with bench instruments and programming in Python/Embedded C.
Expertise with JTAG debugging tools (Lauterbach).

Responsibilities

Lead validation planning for MODEM SOC and high-speed peripherals (LPDDR4, SerDes).
Design SOC test platforms with robust architectural integrity.
Develop and maintain testbenches and automation for high-speed interfaces.
Conduct system-level debugs with Design, DV, Architecture, and Manufacturing.
Collaborate with FPGA, Emulators and DV to ensure Bring Up success.
