Job summary

Amazon LEO is expanding global broadband access through a constellation of low Earth orbit satellites. The Post Silicon Engineer will own validation of Embedded Processors, PLL, SRAM, DDR and SERDES, ensuring the MODEM SOC brings up reliably in Amazon LEO products.

You will define validation plans, build test platforms, and drive system-level debugging alongside design, DV, and manufacturing teams. A strong SOC bring-up background and proficiency in Python, Embedded C, and JTAG debugging is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of work experience in Bring Up, Validation and characterization of SOC or ASIC.
• Familiarity with protocols such as I2C, SPI, I3C and eMMC.
• Experience using bench top instruments (Power Supply, DMM, High Speed Oscilloscope, Signal generator and DAQs).
• Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Embedded C.
• Familiarity using Lauterbach or other JTAG based debuggers to program/debug Embedded Processors.

Responsibilities

• Define, Own and maintain Validation/Characterization plan for MODEM SOC and associated peripherals.
• Define, Design and Bring Up SOC Test Platforms.
• Own test automation and test benches, for validation of high-speed interfaces and other Peripherals
• Drive System Level Debugs working alongside Design, DV, Architects and Manufacturing teams
• Work in FPGA, Emulators and DV Environment to ensure successful Bring Up.
