Job summary

Amazon LEO is expanding global broadband access with a constellation of satellites. The Post Silicon Engineer will own validation of Embedded Processors and MODEM SOC, defining bring-up strategies and test platforms.

You will collaborate with design, DV, and manufacturing teams to ensure system-level performance in space-environment hardware. Candidates should have 5+ years in SOC/ASIC bring-up and strong skills in Python, Embedded C, and JTAG debuggers, with exposure to SERDES/DDR interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of Bring Up, Validation and characterization of SOC/ASIC.
• Familiarity with I2C, SPI, I3C, eMMC.
• Experience with bench instruments: power supply, DMM, oscilloscope, signal generator, DAQs.
• Knowledge of Python and Embedded C.

Responsibilities

• Define, own and maintain validation/characterization plan for MODEM SOC.
• Design and bring up SOC test platforms.
• Own test benches and automation for validation of high-speed interfaces.
• Lead system-level debug with design, DV, and manufacturing teams.
• Work with FPGA/Emulators in DV environment for bring up.
