Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. in the United States seeks a Senior Product Engineer, Post-Processing to design and direct the manufacturing steps after printing, covering depowdering, plate removal, heat treatment, and inspection while leveraging additive and subtractive processes.

You will own post-print process development, write detailed work instructions, and partner with the product team to meet customer specifications while applying lean principles and ensuring quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in product or manufacturing settings.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in advanced 3D CAD software (NX/Creo/SolidWorks).
• Experience using ERP systems in batch manufacturing.
• Deep GD&T knowledge and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Strong knowledge of subtractive and additive manufacturing integration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate designs and provide DFAM feedback.
• Optimize processing for customer requirements.
• Own post-print processes: depowdering, plate removal, heat treatment, and subcontracted steps.
• Work with quality teams to define inspection methods.
• Convert customer requirements into manufacturing steps in ERP.
• Design fixtures and work-holding for multiple process steps.
• Write and maintain process docs and revisions.
• Manage non-conforming material disposition.
• Support troubleshooting across the printing-to-delivery chain.
