This role emphasizes collaboration with principal investigators, pre-award, OSR and Research Finance, with a hybrid work model in a high‑impact, patient‑centered environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in research administration with emphasis on post-award in an academic/hospital setting preferred.
• Strong MS Excel and reporting skills with the ability to present data clearly for non-technical readers.
• Familiarity with federal funding regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in grants management systems and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary post-award service contact for Principal Investigators, department administrators and Sponsors. Manage finances of sponsored projects for assigned divisions, departments and programs.
• Conducts timely financial analysis, reporting, and invoicing of sponsored awards with PI summaries and standard reports.
• Allocate salaries to sponsored projects, determine affordability, and handle job requisitions and related HR processes.
• Communicate accurate financial data to PIs, sponsors and others; investigate anomalies and provide resolutions.
• Monitor all expenditures to ensure budgets are adhered to and reporting/compliance requirements are met.
• Collaborate with Research Finance to ensure OSR performance and compliance; manage closeouts and AR monitoring.
• Stay current on regulations and provide ongoing education to post-award staff.
