The University of Washington School of Medicine Integrated Resources, Post-Award is seeking a Senior Post-Award Grants Manager to oversee post-award activities for a diverse portfolio of federal, industry, foundation, and training grants. Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will counsel PIs and leadership on budgets, regulatory requirements, and award lifecycle planning, ensuring accuracy and sponsor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 4+ years of related experience.
• Familiarity with post-award grant and contract processes for federal and non-federal funding.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a complex environment.
• Experience mentoring and guiding a dispersed team.

Responsibilities

• Direct and perform advanced post-award management for a complex grant portfolio.
• Serve as primary financial and administrative advisor to faculty and leadership.
• Review financial status, compliance, spending trends, and milestones with investigators.
• Develop financial analyses, forecasts, and reports for informed decisions.
• Oversee budget development, deliverables, reporting deadlines, subawards, payroll, and closeouts.
• Collaborate on budget revisions and analyses of variances to optimize award utilization.
• Interpret and apply federal, state, sponsor, and university policies for post-award administration.
• Monitor practices to identify risks and compliance gaps.
• Escalate complex financial and sponsor issues; foster relationships with PIs and admins.
