Job summary

The Huntsman Cancer Institute’s post-award team provides comprehensive oversight of sponsored funds awarded to principal investigators, coordinating with OSP, GCA, and each PI’s home department. The work is detailed, requires precision, and supports the university’s research mission.

We seek an experienced professional with 8+ years in post‑award grant administration, a bachelor’s degree (or higher), NIH experience preferred, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) required; master’s preferred.
• 8+ years of directly related post-award grant administration experience.
• NIH grants experience is preferred.
• Strong accounting and analytical skills; able to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage grant accruals and reporting to sponsors.
• Monitor subcontracts and ensure compliance with university policies.
• Coordinate with OSP, GCA, and PI home departments.
• Support lab financial health and grant closeout processes.
