Bank of America is seeking a senior engineering leader to define and drive the approach for delivering complex features that achieve meaningful business outcomes. You will own end-to-end solution design, lead CI/CD initiatives, and mentor teams across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes architecture, platform scalability, and collaboration with stakeholders to align technical direction with business goals.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on technical leadership and active coding/architecture experience.
• Extensive, expert-level software development background.
• Deep experience with Point of Sale systems.
• Deep experience with Payment Gateway systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure design and engineering approach for complex features is consistent with the larger portfolio solution.
• Define the technology tool stack for the solution and evaluate/adapt new testing tools/frameworks/practices for teams.
• Enable CI/CD capabilities and engage with stakeholders for efficient CI/CD operations.
• Guide teams on design and best practices for high code performance and reviews.
• Provide end-to-end delivery of complex features across teams at the program level.
• Conduct research, prototyping and exploration activities for tools, CI/CD, and releases.
• Work with stakeholders to establish high-level solution needs and with architects for technical requirements.
