Job summary

Stantec in Florida seeks a licensed Project Engineer Ports and Marine Structural Engineer to join the Transportation Florida team with opportunities across several Florida locations, including West Palm Beach, Miami, and surrounding areas.

You will lead design efforts for port projects, supervise teams, and deliver on-time, on-budget solutions for public and private clients using current design tools and STAAD. This role emphasizes leadership and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineering license, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 5+ years of ports & marine civil and structural engineering design experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more teams through all phases of project document production.
• Develop project work plans and ensure execution through oversight of the project team.
• Prepare project specifications with construction documents and support client meetings.
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control on own projects and peers.
