Job summary
Stantec is seeking a licensed Project Engineer Ports and Marine Structural Engineer in Florida to join our Transportation Florida team, with opportunities across West Palm Beach, Deerfield Beach, Coral Gables, Miami, Tampa and Jacksonville. You will work as part of the Ports & Marine Terminals team on varied public and private sector projects.
You will lead engineering tasks, guide teams, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining client satisfaction, using up-to-date design tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- 5+ years of ports & marine civil and structural engineering design experience.
- Experience with STAAD software for structural modeling.
Responsibilities
- Lead marine structures and port projects of varying complexity.
- Develop project work plans and manage project teams.
- Prepare and revise drawings, models, diagrams, and specs.
- Coordinate project specifications with construction documents.
- Conduct constructability reviews and quality control on projects.
- Develop proposals for port development projects.
