Job summary

Ballentine Partners is a leading independent wealth management firm seeking a Portfolio Manager to join our Investments team in the Boston area. You will develop investment strategy and collaborate with Senior Client Advisors on portfolio management for a diverse client base.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in investment management, a Bachelor's degree, and a Series 65 license (with firm support if needed).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum of five years of experience in investment management/financial services.
Series 65 license required (or will be supported).
Meaningful progress toward the CFA designation preferred.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the investment group and contribute to investment strategy.
Work directly with clients to develop investment strategy and portfolio management.
Provide direction and leadership to client service teams.
Finalize Investment Policy Statements (IPS) for clients.
Serve as lead advisor on G2 and G3 clients.
Handle day-to-day calls and meetings for G1 clients.
Mentor Portfolio Analysts and Portfolio Associates.
Other duties as assigned.
