Job summary

Ballentine Partners seeks a Portfolio Associate to support Senior Investment Advisors with asset allocation, portfolio construction, and investment strategy execution. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills and comfort with complex financial models.

You will collaborate across custodians, managers, and the Investments team, preparing performance reports and client materials while learning to navigate investment software and CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• CFA designation or progress toward it a plus.
• Series 65 license required or sponsorable by Ballentine Partners.

Responsibilities

• Construct trade plans and tax loss harvesting for client accounts.
• Draft Investment Policy Statements and client transition plans.
• Monitor cash flow, positions, trades, and asset transfers per IPS.
