Job summary

Brown Advisory’s Boston office is seeking an Associate Portfolio Manager to support and enhance portfolio management across a diverse client base, including individuals, families, trusts, and institutions.

The role requires strong quantitative and analytical skills, client communication, and the ability to work closely with the Portfolio Management team. MBA or CFA in progress is preferred, and familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, and other institutional tools adds value.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in finance; 5–7 years preferred.
• MBA or progress toward CFA designation is desired.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg, FactSet, Charles River, and APX is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in portfolio management for a range of client portfolios including individuals, families, trusts and institutions.
• Analyze liquidity, equity, fixed income, and opportunistic investments as appropriate.
• Provide information to portfolio managers to support daily decisions and reporting.
• Develop and implement investment strategies with the Portfolio Management team and Investment Solutions Group.
• Prepare client-specific materials and reports detailing portfolios and performance.
