Job summary

55ip is seeking a Vice President to lead portfolio research and analysis, validating systematic investment strategies and enabling scalable research outputs. You will work with Quant Researchers, Portfolio Managers, Product and Technology to ensure robust portfolios aligned with investment objectives.

The role requires deep markets knowledge, hands-on analytics, and leadership to drive cross-functional execution in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in portfolio research, quantitative investing, or related areas.
• Hands-on data analysis with SQL and Python; leadership experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio research, validation of strategies, and governance for lifecycle.
• Oversee simulation, back-testing, and risk/attribution analyses.
• Partner with PMs, researchers, and tech to scale and improve workflows.
• Mentor analysts and drive cross-functional initiatives.
