Binding Minds Inc. seeks a Lead Systems Analyst to join the Portfolio Analysis Technology team, supporting investors in portfolio analytics, risk assessment, and decision-making.

You will translate investor workflows into scalable technology solutions and lead end-to-end analysis for complex initiatives across data, analytics, and UX. The role requires strong communication with portfolio managers and analysts, a deep understanding of asset management concepts, and experience guiding agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or similar in complex tech environments.
• Strong understanding of asset management and portfolio analytics concepts.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills with investment professionals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for ambiguity and trade-offs.
• Experience leading analysis across cross-functional teams and multiple systems.
• Experience in Agile or iterative development environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with portfolio managers and research analysts to understand analytics, risk, performance, and workflows.
• Lead analysis for portfolio analytics initiatives and translate needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Oversee end-to-end analysis for complex initiatives across data, analytics, and UX.
• Work with engineers, architects, and product teams to evaluate approaches and impacts.
• Facilitate alignment among investment professionals and technology teams.
• Support delivery from concept through release with design reviews and rollout readiness.
• Identify opportunities to improve investor workflows and platform usability and performance.
• Promote high-quality Agile practices with well-formed epics, acceptance criteria, and backlog readiness.
