Job summary

247Hire is seeking a seasoned Portfolio Manager to lead a portfolio of enterprise projects within a state-based agency. The role requires coordinating with third party PMO groups to ensure client needs are met while keeping project teams aligned and focused.

Candidates with managed services or MSP experience and a consulting firm background (e.g., Deloitte, KPMG, West Monroe, Slalom) are preferred; SaaS-based implementations or integrations for large state agencies are ideal.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lead a portfolio with projects teams underneath.
• Must advocate with third party managed PMO teams that identify flaws in development work.
• Must come from an Engineering/Developer background, as the team uses a partnered, consultative approach.
• Must manage a backend project that supports Maintenance and Operations (M&O).
• Experience from a consulting or software integrator background is highly beneficial.
• Conversion salary is between 170-185 annually; focus on profiles that fit this.
