Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of program and portfolio management experience.
• 5+ years leading programs with Agile/SAFe/Iterative/Hybrid methods.
• Experience in complex matrix environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient with portfolio governance, budgeting, forecasting and audits.
• Experience using portfolio management tools (ServiceNow SPM, JIRA, SharePoint).
• Strong communication of complex problems and solutions.

• Provide guidance to delivery teams on the use and application of portfolio management tools in alignment with enterprise portfolio management guidelines.

I have a 6+ month contract opportunity in Bethlehem, PA for a Portfolio Manager to join the team with one of our leading enterprise firms.

This is onsite 2 days a week.

Pay rate is $75/hr W2

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of ten years of program and portfolio management.
• A minimum of five years recent experience leading programs through Agile / SAFe / Iterative / Hybrid methodologies.
• Demonstrated an understanding of business line initiatives, and highly specialized working knowledge of program or project management methodologies (e.g., SAFe, agile, waterfall, etc.) and be comfortable working in a complex matrix environment.
• Demonstrated experience successfully managing large transformational programs with multiple business and technology stakeholders.
• Highly proficient using ServiceNow SPM, JIRA, SharePoint, and other software for project and task management.
• Process Improvement methodology experience (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, SAFe, etc.).
• An ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner.
• Excellent problem-solving analytical capabilities with strong attention to detail.
• Domain experience in insurance and / or financial industries.
