Job summary

Beacon Bank in Providence, RI is seeking an AVP in Credit Risk Management to lead operational support for the Managed Assets Department, coordinating pre-closing due diligence, loan boarding, and post-closing activities to ensure accurate and timely processing.

As the primary operational liaison, you will connect borrowers, Relationship Managers, Loan Servicing, Compliance, and other partners while developing reports and tools for the department and supporting special projects and departmental

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ongoing industry related and management education.
• Formal credit training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, develop, and implement reports and processes to improve department productivity.
• Monitor and track Workout processes, including approvals, Watch, transfers, risk rating changes, and NACO forms.
• Coordinate pre-closing due diligence, documentation, flood determinations and compliance requirements.
• Prepare commercial loans and modifications for boarding and coordinate post-closing activities.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for borrowers, Relationship Managers, Loan Servicing, Compliance, and internal partners.
• Provide administrative support, including preparation of correspondence, reports and presentations.
• Coordinate with Compliance and other departments to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Support MAD team with special projects and departmental initiatives as needed.
• Assist lenders and management with meetings, events, and office-related activities; support third-party note sales coordination.
• Ensure compliance with banking laws, rules, regulations, and policies to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards.
