Job summary

HarbourVest Partners (U.K.) Limited is seeking a Portfolio Senior Associate to support private markets portfolio operations, IBOR oversight, and data management. The role collaborates across Credit and Evergreen teams, external fund administrators, and technology to drive accurate reporting and streamlined workflows.

The successful candidate will have 5–7+ years in private markets, strong data analytics, and proficiency with Excel, Power BI, Snowflake, Allvue or eFront preferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Strong understanding of private markets and portfolio operations.
• Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily IBOR reconciliation standups with onshore and offshore teams.
• Review and resolve reconciliation breaks to meet daily production timelines.
• Coordinate timely trade capture processes in IBORs with offshore teams and external fund administrators.
• Perform daily and monthly investment data reconciliations with external fund administrators.
• Research data exceptions and enhance IBOR capabilities with Investment Data Operations.
• Oversee and coordinate relationships with multiple third-party administrators.
• Support product management through strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
• Partner with teams to enhance data reporting tools and automation processes.
