Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a senior Portfolio Manager to lead underwriting of distressed commercial credits and develop recovery strategies in partnership with Relationship Managers and risk teams.

The role also includes staffing, performance management, and training for PMs, serving as a senior leader within the PM group and coordinating with Legal, Loan Operations and senior executives. This position requires on-site work at a U.S. Bank location multiple days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than 12 years of applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite distressed commercial credit relationships and prepare reports.
• Partner with Relationship Managers, Credit Officers, Legal, Loan Operations and senior leadership.
• Lead a team of PMs with staffing, performance management, prioritization, guidance and training.
