Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor an assigned portfolio of commercial loans, evaluating borrower performance, repayment capacity, financial trends, and overall credit quality.
• Review financial statements, tax returns, borrowing-base reports, covenant compliance, and other documentation to identify risks and opportunities.
• Maintain regular communication with borrowers and relationship managers to monitor business performance and support client relationships.
• Track loan maturities, renewals, annual reviews, covenant exceptions, and portfolio requirements to ensure deadlines and documentation are current.
• Identify early warning signs of deteriorating credit quality and mitigate risk.
• Prepare credit analyses, portfolio reports, and recommendations for management and credit approval committees.
• Partner with commercial lenders, credit analysts, loan operations, and other internal teams to resolve issues and maintain efficient loan management.
• Ensure portfolio activities comply with internal credit policies, applicable banking regulations, and risk management standards.
• Support loan modifications, renewals, risk-rating assessments, and problem-loan management when necessary.
• Maintain organized credit files and accurate portfolio records.
