Job summary

Ian Martin Group is seeking an Information Management Lead to support a portfolio of global capital projects. The role coordinates Project IM Leads, IM Advisors, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure governance and effective IM practices.

The ideal candidate will combine IM expertise with project/portfolio management, guiding multiple projects, prioritizing needs, and mitigating risks across technical and functional teams in a large industrial setting.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of relevant experience in Information Management or related fields.
• Leadership experience overseeing multiple projects or a project portfolio.
• Strong understanding of information lifecycle practices and governance.
• Experience in capital projects, ideally Oil & Gas or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IM Advisors to develop and implement IM strategies across global projects.
• Coordinate between Project IM Leads, teams, and stakeholders to ensure governance and resources.
• Monitor portfolio engagement and scale IM processes across projects.
• Guide project IM Leads in planning, governance, and controls.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities across concurrent projects.
• Support IM resource planning, deployment, and onboarding.
• Promote standardization and change management in IM activities.
• Assist deployment and updates of EDMS such as Aconex.
• Support KPI monitoring, health checks, and IM effectiveness assessments.
• Partner with organizations to align IM programs with business needs.
• Drive process improvements across information lifecycle and templates.
