Job summary

Wheels, LLC in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a Senior Portfolio Specialist to assist the Manager - Portfolio Management in overseeing Truck Remarketing activities, including billing changes, lease extensions, terminations, and revenue recognition. You will also aid the Finance department with related research on Remarketing transactions.

Qualifications

• Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills are required.
• Above-average computer and math skills are necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is essential.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; five years in a business environment, ideally financial services.

Responsibilities

• Creates asset close out transactions for all terminated assets.
• Audits aging ad hoc invoice log and follows up with customers on past due invoices.
• Receives payment notices from AR and processes; acts as primary contact for questions.
• Verify termination dates for assets sold on the auction site with Account Manager.
• Process payments for Truck Remarketing to investors and third-party vendors as needed for payoff schedules, repairs and inspection fees.
• Run monthly reports for credits not submitted, suspended units, unpaid invoices, and close-out assets.
• Assist Remarketing Account Managers with sales, buyouts and early termination when needed.
• Provide back-up support to account managers when out of office.
• Respond to emails and phone calls requiring immediate attention.
• Research outstanding credits, ad hoc invoices, lease extensions and stop/resume billing forms as requested.
