Job summary

T. Rowe Price is seeking a Portfolio Construction Lead Analyst to serve as a principal resource for the Portfolio Construction Services team, producing bespoke analysis and client-focused insights for financial professionals.

You will help design asset allocation solutions and support the PCS team in serving US Intermediaries Wealth Management through analytical excellence. The role emphasizes strong analytics, collaboration across investment professionals, and the ability to tell a compelling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 8+ years of total relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in portfolio construction, investment solutions, and complex investment analysis.
• Ability to guide high-level research and analyses for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Experience advising clients and stakeholders on portfolio construction and investment solutions.
• Ability to develop, refine, and promote investment methodologies, analytical frameworks, tools, and intellectual capital.
• Strong knowledge of market trends, industry research, asset allocation, and evolving investment themes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with lead analysts and T. Rowe Price relationship manager to gain an understanding of the client's needs and strategic vision.
• Performs analyses to support guidance provided to clients on targeted portfolio construction and investment solutions.
• Provides consultation, performance reviews, and analytical services to internal audiences, articulating the strength of T. Rowe Price funds, services, and offers.
• Escalates highly complex questions and issues as needed.
• May liaise with portfolio construction team stakeholders to gather necessary information to, in part, perform analyses necessary to inform decision-making and advice to the client.
• Identifies strengths and weaknesses of T. Rowe Price's tools and methodologies and determines opportunities for improvements.
• Contributes to the development of analyses and frameworks.
• Performs research, gap analyses, and broader market reviews to inform development of tools, methodologies, and other intellectual capital that serve as the backbone of offerings.
• Stays abreast of market developments, relevant industry research, and evolving investment themes.
• Begins to develop internal and external colleague networks in asset allocation, portfolio construction, and related disciplines.
• May provide guidance to more junior stakeholders in adjacent groups on portfolio construction and how to apply available tools and tactics to their work.
• May attends industry and key client events to start developing industry relationships.
