Job summary

Alter Domus is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Credit & Structured Products team in the Boston area, with opportunities to work across our Chicago, IL and Carmel, IN offices as well. The role focuses on reconciliations, reporting, onboarding, audits, and strategic initiatives within a fast-paced financial services environment.

The ideal candidate has a finance/accounting background and 3+ years in a related role, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with Bloomberg and loan research

Qualifications

• 3+ years in finance or financial services.
• Experience with loan operations and credit funds.
• Ability to mentor and manage workloads.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Organized and deadline-driven with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, review and distribute reconciliations and reporting packages.
• Ensure life cycle events for multi-asset portfolios are accurate.
• Assist with new client onboarding and audits.
• Coordinate with clients and teams on daily deliverables.
• Train and develop Credit & Structured Products staff.
• Own process improvements and final delivery of solutions.
• Develop a big-picture view of daily portfolio accounting tasks.
• Meet timeframes and SLAs with Client and Trustee.
• Prioritize, delegate, and maintain high-quality service.
• Apply market knowledge and best practices in transactions and data flows.
• Develop leadership through strategic initiatives.
