Job summary

Alter Domus is seeking a Senior Fund Accounting Manager for our Private Credit team in Chicago, Boston, or Carmel, IN. The role leads a team responsible for producing financial statements, reviewing IRRs and fees, and ensuring fund compliance. Strong leadership and deep fund accounting knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in fund accounting and private credit.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.
• Expertise in Credit Fund Accounting and Bank Loan Markets operations.
• Experience preparing journal entries and fund accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and leadership to team members, ensure team training and career development
• Serve as lead contact for client and their investors, auditors, and other parties
• Manage and oversight the production of financial statements and supporting schedules
• Review investor allocations, ad-hoc communications with investors, workpapers and reports
• Perform review of IRR’s and returns and discuss results
• Analyze management fees, incentive fee, and waterfall calculations
• Ensure fund/account compliance with client agreements
