Alter Domus is seeking an Associate I to join its Credit & Structured Products team in Carmel, IN. The role focuses on gaining loan-product knowledge, inputting and analyzing loan portfolios, and coordinating with internal and external teams.

You will work with Loan Services software, maintain accuracy in cash and par flows, and support clients with timely information. A finance degree and strong Excel skills are preferred, with Bloomberg familiarity considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics preferred.
• Basic knowledge of loan operations, commercial mortgage lending, and/or loan securitization with product knowledge and/or customer service experience.
• Ability to independently research and resolve problems.
• Responsive, friendly, professional, highly organized, and superb communication style.
• Solid Microsoft Excel experience.
• Knowledge or familiarity with Bloomberg, performance systems, and other loan research and analysis tools an advantage.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive within a high-volume data-entry environment with both proficiency and accuracy;
• Demonstrated willingness to work within a deadline-driven environment.

Responsabilités

• Input, review, analyze and process portfolios of syndicated bank loans.
• Work with Loan Services software and proprietary systems.
• Coordinate with external clients and internal teams for timely responses.
• Responsible for daily cash and par coordination with client and trustee.
• Review and distribute cash reconciliation and daily reporting to clients.
• Update client portfolios with post-trade attributes and ratings.
• Coordinate initial data comparison and reconciliation on CLO Monthly Reports.
• Interact with internal and external parties such as Loan Administration team, Asset Services, Recon, Trade Settlement, Trustees and Agent Banks.
