Job summary

SubCom is seeking a qualified candidate for the position focused on the repair, maintenance, and operation of assigned vessels. The role requires a university degree in a marine field and experience in vessel compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include supervising technical maintenance, managing budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Candidates must have strong leadership and communication skills, and be prepared for travel to various ports as needed.

Qualifications

• University degree in marine field, Maritime Academy graduate preferred.
• United States Coast Guard Chief Engineer unlimited license preferred.
• Diesel experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vessel compliance to SUBCOM Safety, Quality and Environmental (SQE) Policy.
• Manage vessel crews to achieve safe and efficient operations.
• Supervise maintenance and repair to optimize vessel availability.
