Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS seeks a Principle Engineer—Polymer Materials to serve as a senior authority in polymer science, composites, and advanced resin systems used across MRAS programs.

You will lead research, formulation, and qualification of polymer-based materials for high-performance aerostructures, partnering with engineering, quality, production, and suppliers to ensure durability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry with polymer specialization required.
• 8+ years in polymer synthesis, composites, and high-performance materials.
• Experience enabling aerospace-grade materials from lab to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of polymer resins, adhesives, and composite formulations.
• Direct synthesis, modification, and formulation of polymer systems.
• Establish test programs for chemical, thermal, rheological, and mechanical properties.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance and regulatory standards.
