Job summary

MPI, a specialized manufacturer of highly engineered seals, bearings, and precision components, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer III to drive process improvements and optimize operations in a fast-paced production setting. You will partner with operations, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to enhance safety, efficiency, productivity, and product quality.

You will lead process methods for polymer production, support new product launches, and analyze data to reduce bottlenecks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field related to manufacturing.
5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Lead process improvement initiatives focusing on safety, quality, delivery and cost reduction.
Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for polymer production and related operations.
Support new product launches by developing manufacturing methods, tooling, and work instructions.
Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency, yield and throughput.
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Lead root cause investigations and continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma.
Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, process flows, and manufacturing specifications.
Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and operations to improve equipment reliability and production performance.
Evaluate and implement capital equipment, tooling, and automation projects.
Train and mentor personnel on process improvements and best practices.
