Job summary

Elevenlabs is seeking a seasoned Polish Accountant to own the full books under the Accounting Act, align local statutory accounting with US GAAP, and partner on a NetSuite module tailored for Polish requirements. Remote-first role based in Poland, with flexibility to work from Warsaw.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience in Polish accounting, startup/scale-up exposure, and English proficiency at B2 level.

Qualifications

• Experience owning Polish entity books under the Accounting Act (7–10 years preferred).
• Recent startup or scale-up experience is required.
• Based in Poland with English at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records under the Polish Accounting Act and local policies, alongside US GAAP reporting.
• Collaborate with an external partner to implement and launch a NetSuite module for Polish regulatory needs.
• Report issues and errors during and after implementation.
• Process invoices, bank statements and journal entries ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile balances, maintain fixed assets, and prepare balance sheets and financial statements.
• Prepare VAT registers and tax returns (JPK_V7, CIT, etc.).
• Support monthly and annual closes and financial statements, liaising with tax offices, ZUS and GUS.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates to processes and systems.
• Contribute to improvements in accounting processes.
