Job summary

Celestar/B&A in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Policy & Strategy Analyst (Content Editor) for a part-time role. You will review analytic content, edit for accuracy and clarity, and ensure publication readiness while aligning with IC standards.

The position requires extensive experience and a current TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance. The role focuses on developing doctrine, drafting publications, and supporting joint planning with deep analytic expertise.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's with 17+ years total experience.
• Significant recent experience in policy & strategy analysis and content editing.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly.

Responsibilities

• Provides substantive review of analytic content, verifying factual information and suitability for publication.
• Edits for clear, cogent presentation and checks for factual consistency and accuracy.
• Verifies statements, figures, illustrations, and terms; ensures ICD 200-series standards.
• Develops doctrine, strategic guidance, and governance documents with subject matter expertise.
• Researches, analyzes, documents, and publishes products; drafts new doctrine publications.
• Leads writing and editing of chapters and ancillary content for scheduled publications.
• Advises and conducts surveys/analysis of current activities to inform doctrine.
• Reviews documents for grammar, structure, and completeness; supports Joint Planning processes.

Education

Master's Degree and twelve (12) years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree and an additional five (5) years of related experience, for a total of seventeen (17) years in lieu of a Master's Degree, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
