Job summary

Nationwide IT Services, Inc. seeks a Management Analyst III (HIPAA) to support OCR within HHS. The role emphasizes policy analysis, development of new policies, and advising on HIPAA Privacy and Cybersecurity rules. The candidate will work with OCR leaders on program efficiency and inter-agency coordination.

Requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and at least three years of specialized experience at the GS-13/14 level, with the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance II.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, Information Sciences, or related field.
• Three years of specialized experience at the GS-13/14 level or equivalent.
• Expert understanding of HIPAA policies.
• Ability to obtain and retain a Public Trust clearance level II.

Responsibilities

• Provide policy analysis and advice on OCR’s HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules and Cybersecurity initiatives.
• Develop recommendations to improve OCR’s HIPAA and Cybersecurity projects and mission.
• Coordinate with OCR leaders to evaluate program efficiencies and identify areas for consolidation.
• Deliver mission support, policy, and regulatory analysis to OCR leadership.
• Contribute input for policy implementation under OCR’s compliance and enforcement authorities.
• Conduct high-quality research and analysis to support nationwide OCR goals.

Master's degree in Cybersecurity / Computer Science / Information Sciences or related field
