Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development with live request-path policy enforcement.
• Experience with Cedar, OPA/Rego, or XACML policy systems.
• Solid understanding of AI agent failure modes and defenses beyond the model.
• Adversarial testing mindset to design robust protections.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams and GitHub collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Take the out-of-band policy engine from prototype to production: wire the Cedar-based enforcement proxy into our AI gateway as the guardrail path for governed tool calls.
• Build out the two-tier policy composition model and the authoring experience enabling security/compliance teams to write, test, and validate policies.
• Extend the policy operators across authorization, data exposure, and semantic gating, including the deferred-approval workflow.
• Land every enforcement decision as an audited, attributable record for post-hoc review.
• Maintain the adversarial certification harness to keep enforcement claims evidence-backed.
• Collaborate with design-partner customers to translate security reviews into concrete product requirements.
• Highlight risks and mitigation plans to leadership and peers.
• Contribute to shaping the product roadmap with strategic discussions.
