Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent writing, analytical and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of global policy environments in relation to privacy.
• Ability to conduct and lead research on emerging laws and policies.
• Experience writing public consultation responses, white papers or articles.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies and implement project plans to advance CIPL’s policy agenda.
• Monitor policy trends and summarize findings for reports and presentations.
• Draft regulatory comments, white papers and issue briefs.
• Create reports from benchmarking and best practices research with members.
• Plan and deliver virtual and in-person events to advance CIPL projects.
• Manage workloads and deadlines with proactive communication.
• Collaborate with member companies, think tanks and policy influencers to advance the policy agenda.
• Develop materials for events and support speaking engagements by leadership.
• Assist with special projects relevant to CIPL’s mission.
